Indian Ringneck parrots are medium size birds at about 16 inches in length.
Average lifespan is between 25 to 30 years.
They generally have sweet, charming temperment and are excellent talkers. Indian Ringnecks are available in bright yellows, greens, blues, albinos and some mixed mutation shades. Males will grow a ring around the neck when they are about 2 years old. Females lack the collar bands. They eat seeds, nuts, pellets and a variety of fruits and veggies.
